HCS HB 513 -- MEMORIAL HIGHWAY

SPONSOR:  St. Onge (Zweifel)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Transportation by a vote of 15 to 0.

This substitute designates a portion of State Highway 370 in St.
Louis County from the intersection of Interstate 270 west to the
Blanchette Bridge as the "Officer Scott Armstrong Memorial
Highway."

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2006, FY 2007, and
FY 2008.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill is a fitting tribute
for a law enforcement officer who lost his life in the line of
duty.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Zweifel.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
