HCS HB 531 -- CONVEYANCE IN GREENE COUNTY

SPONSOR:  Kelly (Wright, 137)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Corrections and Public Institutions by a vote of 8 to 0.

This substitute authorizes the Governor to convey state property
located in Greene County to the Greater Ozarks Association for
Retarded Citizens.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2006, FY 2007, and
FY 2008.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill gives a small piece of
property belonging the Department of Mental Health to the Greater
Ozarks Association for Retarded Citizens to expand their parking
lot.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Wright (137); and
Department of Mental Health.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
