HB 274 -- Noncertificated School Employees

This bill requires that all employees in school districts be
appointed and promoted pursuant to rules adopted by the local
school board.  During the probationary period, specified by board
rule, an employee whose work is unsatisfactory may be dismissed
one month after written notice if the employee's work does not
improve as required.  After the probationary period, permanent
employees will receive the same due process given to certificated
teachers.
