HB 419 -- Mechanics' Liens

This bill allows a mechanics' lien to include the rent on
equipment or machinery.  The lien will be for the reasonable
rental value of the machinery during the period of actual use and
any periods of nonuse that are covered in the rental contract.
The owner of the rental machinery or equipment has six weeks
after the date the machinery or equipment is returned or
possession is surrendered to file a lien with the circuit court
in the appropriate county.
