HB 444 -- Fire Protection Districts

This bill reduces the term of office from six years to four years
for fire protection district board members and limits their
attendance fees to one per calendar week.  The bill also
prohibits St. Charles County from pursuing any action to
consolidate, dissolve, eliminate, merge, or terminate the
municipal fire protection district in the City of St. Charles.
