HB 484 -- County Reimbursement

This bill requires the state to reimburse counties for expenses
related to the prosecution of crimes occurring within
correctional institutions.  The reimbursement amount will not
exceed 50% of the eligible expense.

The state is also required to reimburse third and fourth
classification counties a pro rata share of expenses related to
the trial of capital cases.  The reimbursement will not exceed
50% of the eligible expenses.

These reimbursements are subject to appropriation.
