HB 649 -- Income Tax Credit for the Elderly and Disabled for
Property Taxes Paid

This bill authorizes, beginning January 1, 2006, a 50% tax credit
to the elderly and disabled who have lived in their home for at
least 10 years and who have spent at least 10% of their household
income on real property taxes.

The provisions of the bill will expire six years from the
effective date.
