HB 781 -- School Police Officers

This bill allows school boards to employ police officers who must
meet the statutory training and experience requirements for
police officers.  Officers will have the same authority to
maintain order, preserve peace, and make arrests as any peace
officer for the public buildings, facilities, and grounds over
which the school district has authority.  Officers have the power
to eject people from schools and their campuses who are violating
school board rules and regulations.
