HB 849 -- Compensation of County Officials

This bill allows certain counties which became first
classification noncharter counties after December 31, 1990, to
establish the base salary of certain county officials as a
percentage of the maximum allowable compensation under the
applicable salary schedule and transfers the responsibility for
the computation of county officials' salaries to the county
salary commission in all noncharter counties.
