HB 887 -- Complaints Against Long-Term Care Facilities

This bill requires the Department of Health and Senior Services
to publish the results of an investigation complaint against a
long-term care facility in a newspaper circulated within the
county where the facility is located.  A facility that does not
provide a copy of the results of a complaint, notices or reports
of deficiencies, or a violation of law or ordinances against the
facility during the last 10 years to a resident, the resident's
guardian, and the resident's family members prior to admission
will receive an immediate revocation of their license.
