HB 943 -- Hazardous Waste Transportation

This bill requires that a person transporting high-level
radioactive waste or transuranic waste notify the Director of the
Department of Health and Senior Services of the route, date, and
time of the transport.  Each motor vehicle shipment of high-level
radioactive waste or transuranic waste traversing the state will
be assessed a fee of $3,500 and $25 for every mile over 250.
Each rail shipment will be assessed a fee of $3,000 per cask.
