HB 959 -- Insurance Coverage for Certain Public Assistance

This bill requires health carriers to offer health benefit plans
to persons no longer eligible for state medical assistance due to
income or asset levels.  There will be an open enrollment period
of at least 31 days; and any condition for which the state is
required to make medical assistance payments under Chapter 208,
RSMo, cannot be excluded as a pre-existing condition.
