HB 961 -- Health Benefit Plan Reimbursement Allowance

This bill requires each Medicaid-only health benefit plan in
Missouri to pay a Medicaid-only health benefit plan reimbursement
allowance beginning July 1, 2005.  The Department of Social
Services must establish the formula for the reimbursement
allowance through administrative rule and the procedures for
Medicaid-only health benefit plans to follow when filing
documents with the department.  The department is required to
notify the Medicaid-only health benefit plans of the annual
amount of the reimbursement allowance, which may be paid in
monthly increments.  Amounts remitted by Medicaid-only health
benefit plans to the department will be deposited into the
Medicaid-only Health Benefit Plan Reimbursement Allowance Fund.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
