HB 99 -- Peace Officers Sponsor: Brown (30) Current law states that law enforcement agencies with more than 15 officers must grant an officer a meeting within 48 hours of any disciplinary action taken against the officer. This bill changes the term "meeting" to "hearing" and applies this requirement to all law enforcement agencies, regardless of size. The initial statement by the law enforcement agency at the hearing is required to be made in writing.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
