HJR 27 -- Workers' Compensation Judges

This proposed constitutional amendment abolishes all workers'
compensation administrative law judges on January 1, 2007.  The
jurisdiction of workers' compensation administrative law judges
is transferred to the circuit court, creating the Workers'
Compensation Court.  Administrative law judges who hold office on
January 1, 2007, will become circuit court judges of the newly
created court and will hear all claims for workers' compensation,
tort victims' compensation, and crime victims' compensation.
