HCS HB 691 -- NON-GAMING AMUSEMENT DEVICES (Cooper, 120) COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN: Rules This substitute revises the definition of "gambling device" by excluding amusement devices that award only an immediate right of replay or a coupon credit that can be redeemed on the premises for something of value, not to exceed $5 per play, except for cash, intoxicating beer or liquor, or tobacco products. Currently, only slot machines more than 30 years old can be operated in an owner's residence for non-gaming purposes. The substitute removes the requirement that the slot machine be more than 30 years old. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds in FY 2006, FY 2007, and FY 2008.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
