AN ACT

To repeal section 8.172, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to parking on the Capitol grounds.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Section 8.172, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 8.172, to read as follows:

            8.172. 1. The commissioner of administration shall make rules and regulations for the regulation of traffic and parking at all parking space upon the capitol grounds and upon the grounds of other state buildings located within the capital city. The regulations shall be enforced by the Missouri capitol police.

             2. The commissioner of administration shall designate the parking lot on the Capitol grounds located south of the Capitol building, north of High Street, and between the fountain on the southeast side of the Capitol known as the "Fountain of the Sciences" and the fountain on the southwest side of the Capitol known as the "Fountain of the Arts" as parking for the disabled.
