AN ACT
To amend chapter 334, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to physician referrals for medical diagnosis.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 334, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 334.251, to read as follows:
334.251. If a physician licensed under this chapter refers a patient to another licensed physician for a medical diagnosis, the physician to whom the patient is referred, including but not limited to a physician who has entered into a collaborative practice arrangement under section 334.104, shall not delegate the diagnosis of such patient to a nurse or nurse practitioner.
