AN ACT

To authorize the governor to convey land owned by the state in the City of Manchester.





Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section 1. 1. The governor is hereby authorized and empowered to sell, transfer, grant, and convey all interest in fee simple absolute in property owned by the state in the City of Manchester to the Manchester United Methodist Church. The property to be conveyed is more particularly described as follows:

A tract of land being part of Lot 2 of Krape's Subdivision being located in Section 26, Township 45 North, Range 4 East, St. Louis County, Missouri and being more particularly described as follow:

 

Beginning at an iron pipe at the Northeast corner of Lot 2 of said Krape's Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 211, Page 78 of the St. Louis County Records: Thence North 88 degrees 20 minutes West 318.88 feet to a point; Thence South 1 degree 1 minute West 130.00 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest Corner of said Lot 2; Thence along the South line of Lot 2 South 88 degrees 20 minutes East 317.41 feet to a point on the West line of Creve Coeur Avenue 40 feet wide; thence along the West line of Creve Coeur Avenue, North 1 degree 40 minutes East 130.00 feet to the point of beginning containing 41,358 square feet more or less.

 

            2. In conjunction with the transfer of property authorized in subsection 1 of this section, the Manchester United Methodist Church shall sell, transfer, grant, and convey all interest in fee simple absolute in property owned by the Manchester United Methodist Church in the City of Manchester to the State of Missouri. The property to be conveyed is more particularly described as follows:

Part of Lot 17 of William Triplet's Estate in Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 4 East, in St. Louis County, more particularly described as follows:

 

Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Wilcox Place, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 55, Page 19 of the St. Louis County Records; Thence along the North line of Wilcox Place, North 88 degrees 20 minutes West 116.87 feet to the point of beginning of the description contained herein; Thence North 0 degrees 43 minutes East 90.87 feet to a point; Thence North 88 degrees 20 minutes West 188.90 feet to a point on the East line of Creve Coeur Avenue, said point being on the arc of a curve having a radius of 30.00 feet; Thence Southwestwardly along the East line of Creve Coeur Avenue along said arc of a curve to the right 26.13 feet to a point; Thence continuing along the East line of Creve Coeur Avenue 40 feet wide, South 3 degrees 23 minutes West 67.94 feet to a point on the North line of Wilcox place, Thence along the North line of Wilcox place, South 88 degrees 20 minutes East 203.12 feet to a point of beginning containing 18,100 square feet.


            3. The commissioner of administration shall set the terms and conditions for the sale as the commissioner deems reasonable. Such terms and conditions may include, but are not limited to, the number of appraisals required, the time, place, and terms of the sale.

            4. The attorney general shall approve the form of the instrument of conveyance.
