AN ACT

To amend chapter 376, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to multiple sclerosis.

 


 

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

 

            Section A. Chapter 376, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 376.823, to read as follows:

            376.823. Section 191.905, RSMo, shall not apply to programs established by pharmaceutical companies for the purposes of providing a partial rebate of private health insurance copayments and coinsurance to patients with multiple sclerosis or other chronic, potentially disabling, or life-threatening conditions who have been prescribed disease-managing medicines for which there are no generic equivalents.
