HB 1080 -- Ambulatory Surgical Centers

Currently, licensure requirements for an ambulatory surgical
center require a physician, dentist, or podiatrist from the
center to have surgical privileges with a licensed hospital in
the community or the center must have a current working agreement
with a licensed hospital.  This bill allows an ambulatory
surgical center to be located within 50 miles of a licensed
hospital.
