HB 1219 -- Crimes Against Children and the Elderly

This bill requires offenders who have pled guilty to or who are
found guilty of a crime of violence against a child or an elderly
person to be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of at least 30
days.  The individual will not be eligible for probation or
parole until he or she has been incarcerated for at least 30
days.
