HB 1292 -- Sexual Offenses Sponsor: Wildberger This bill specifies that a person committing the crime of statutory rape in the second degree must have sexual intercourse with a person younger than 17 years of age and must be at least two years older than the victim. Currently, the crime occurs when any person 21 years of age or older has sexual intercourse with a person younger than 17. A person committing the crime of statutory sodomy in the second degree must have deviate sexual intercourse with a person younger than 17 years of age and must be at least two years older than the victim.
