HB 1328 -- Use of Lasers by Cosmetologists

Sponsor:  Schaaf

This bill prohibits the use of class I, II, and III lasers by
cosmetologists unless they are under the direct supervision of a
physician.  The State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners
and the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts are
authorized to promulgate rules regarding the training and use of
lasers and pulse light sources by cosmetologists.
