HB 1636 -- Medical Assistance

This bill requires the Department of Social Services to determine
if a child has health insurance or benefits six months after
becoming ineligible for state medical assistance.  Every year
beginning in 2007, the department will report to the Governor and
General Assembly the number of children who became ineligible for
medical assistance during the fiscal year; the number of children
who were ineligible for assistance for at least six months during
that year; and the number of children who had health insurance or
benefits six months after becoming ineligible for assistance.
