HB 1660 -- Professional Registration

This bill adds interpreters for the deaf to the list of
professions which are given a grace period for license renewal
while they are on active-duty military service.

The bill also adds certain professions to the list of health care
professionals for which hospitals or ambulatory surgical centers
must report disciplinary matters to the appropriate health care
licensing authority.

The Director of the Division of Professional Registration within
the Department of Economic Development is authorized to retain
personnel to render necessary services.
