HB 1740 -- Individual Income Tax Rate Reduction

For tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2006, this bill
lowers by 0.5% the tax percentage rates of the 10 income brackets
used in the computation of individual income tax liability.  The
top rate for taxable income over $9,000 will be 5.5% instead of
6%.
