HB 1790 -- Hunting Wildlife on a Public Roadway

Sponsor:  Cooper (120)

This bill prohibits the use of a firearm or crossbow to pursue,
take, attempt to take, or molest wildlife from a motor-driven
conveyance on any public roadway.  A violation will be a
misdemeanor with each subsequent violation a felony punishable by
a term of imprisonment not to exceed two years in a penitentiary
or 12 months in a county jail and/or a fine of $1,000.
