HB 1804 -- Sale of Telephone Records

This bill prohibits telecommunications service or mobile
telecommunications service providers from selling a customer's
name and telephone number without first obtaining the written
consent of the customer.  Customers may revoke their consent at
any time.  The bill allows the disclosure of the records to
collection agencies, state agencies, and other organizations or
persons responding to a 911 call or communicating an imminent
threat or acting under state or federal law.
