HB 1887 -- Resisting or Interfering with Arrest

Sponsor:  Jackson

This bill increases the penalty for resisting or interfering with
an arrest, detention, or stop from a class A misdemeanor to a
class D felony.  If a substantial risk of serious physical injury
or death is created, the penalty is increased from a class D
felony to a class C felony.
