HB 1923 -- Proof of Lawful Presence

This bill exempts applicants for a driver's or nondriver's
license who were born prior to January 1, 1941, from submitting a
birth certificate or other documents indicating proof of lawful
presence.  If any federal law or regulation authorizes any
exemptions or modifications regarding the required submission of
a birth certificate, the provisions of the bill will be deemed
superseded by the federal law or regulation and terminated.
