HB 1937 -- Spouses of Deployed Soldiers

Sponsor:  Tilley

This bill allows the spouse of a deployed soldier to receive up
to two weeks off without pay prior to the soldier's deployment,
during any time the soldier is home on a pass, and immediately
after the soldier returns from deployment.  Employers are
prohibited from firing, demoting, or taking other adverse actions
against a spouse who exercises this right.
