HB 1973 -- Charter School Sponsorship

This bill clarifies that the sponsoring private college of a
charter school must have its primary campus located in Missouri
in the same standard metropolitan statistical area as the St.
Louis City School District.  The current requirements for minimum
enrollment and a teacher preparation program remain unchanged.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
