HB 2043 -- Alternative Dispute Resolutions Sponsor: Pratt This bill allows a court to order the parties to an action brought under Chapters 210, 211, or 452, RSMo, to participate in alternative dispute resolution. In cases regarding uncontested custody or temporary physical custody or a finding of domestic violence or abuse as determined by a competent court, parties may avoid the assignment of alternative dispute resolution. Any alternative dispute resolution ordered by the court will be paid for by the parties in a proportion to be determined by the court. Any agreement reached through the alternative dispute resolution will not be binding on the parties.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
