HB 2045 -- Compensation of Juvenile Officers

This bill redefines "juvenile court employee" to include those
persons with service in a juvenile court position financed in
whole or in part by a public or private grant.

Employees retiring before August 28, 2006, who apply to the board
or trustees of the state retirement plan to be employed as a
special consultant, will have their retirement benefits adjusted
so the benefits are equal to the amount they would have received
had the benefits been initially calculated to include the
creditable service.
