HB 1065 -- MINIMUM COMPENSATION FOR CORRECTIONS EMPLOYEES

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Corrections and Public Institutions

This bill authorizes minimum amounts of compensation for certain
corrections employees.

The bill becomes effective July 1, 2007.

FISCAL NOTE:  Estimated Cost to General Revenue Fund of $0 in
FY 2007, $23,476,103 in FY 2008, and $3,291,539 in FY 2009.
Subject to appropriation.  No impact on Other State Funds in
FY 2007, FY 2008, and FY 2009.
