HB 1088 -- COPAYMENTS FOR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS (Schaaf)

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Insurance Policy

This bill specifies that when the usual and customary retail
price of a prescription drug is less than the copayment applied
by a health maintenance organization or health insurer, the
enrollee is only required to pay the usual and customary retail
price of the prescription drug.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on General Revenue Fund in FY 2007, FY
2008, and FY 2009.  Estimated Income on Other State Funds of $0
to $5,000 in FY 2007, $0 in FY 2008, and $0 in FY 2009.
