HCS HB 1432 -- PROBATION AND PAROLE HEARINGS (Moore) COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN: Corrections and Public Institutions This substitute authorizes the State Board of Probation and Parole, at its discretion, to conduct probation and parole hearings by means of videoconferencing. The victims are allowed to testify at either the location where the videoconferencing is taking place or at the institution where the offender is located. FISCAL NOTE: Estimated Income on General Revenue Fund of $0 in FY 2007, $17,155 in FY 2008, and $17,155 in FY 2009.
