Summary of the Perfected Version of the Bill

HCS HB 1515 -- COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE REPORTING (Behnen)

COMMITTEE OF ORIGIN:  Professional Registration and Licensing

This substitute requires physicians to report to the State Board
of Registration for the Healing Arts any collaborative practice
or physician assistant agreement entered into within 30 days.
Physicians are also required to provide the board with all their
collaborative practice agreements when renewing their license.
This information will be available to the public.

The board is authorized to conduct random reviews of these
agreements to determine whether licensees are in compliance with
the provisions of the substitute.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2007, FY 2008, and
FY 2009.
