AN ACT

To amend chapter 71, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to compensation for certain injured workers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 71, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 71.211, to read as follows:

            71.211. The governing body of each city shall provide for the payment of any difference between the amount of the salary and any workers' compensation benefits paid to any emergency medical technician, as defined in section 190.100, RSMo, any firefighter, or any police officer who is employed by the city and who suffers a traumatic job-related injury.
