AN ACT

To amend chapter 8, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to flags.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 8, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 8.013, to read as follows:

            8.013. All agencies of this state and all political subdivisions of this state shall fly the flag of the United States and the Missouri state flag at half-staff each day a member of the United States armed services dies in the service of his or her country and also on the day immediately following that day in honor of their service to this country.
