AN ACT
To amend chapter 67, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to ticket sales in certain counties.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 67, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 67.648, to read as follows:
67.648. 1. Playoff ticket sales for any professional sports team affiliated with or franchised by the National Football League or the American League or the National League of Major League Baseball and based in any county with a charter form of government and with more than six hundred thousand but fewer than seven hundred thousand inhabitants shall be exclusively limited to residents of such county for a duration of two days prior to being offered for sale as provided in this subsection. Following the end of such two-day period, playoff ticket sales shall be limited to all residents of the state of Missouri for a duration of two days. Following the end of the second two-day period, playoff ticket sales may be offered for sale to any individual regardless of residence.
2. No public parking facility located within one-half mile of any facility conducting an exhibition, regular season, or playoff game by any professional sports team as provided in subsection 1 of this section shall collect, during a game day, more than five dollars total from the occupants of any vehicle bearing Missouri license plates with a current registration sticker.
