AN ACT
To amend chapter 197, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to fees for architectural plan review of new construction for certain health care facilities.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 197, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 197.101, to read as follows:
197.101. 1. The department of health and senior services shall promulgate rules to establish a schedule of fees to be paid by an applicant for a review of the architectural plan for new construction and/or alterations to health facilities licensed under this chapter and chapter 198, RSMo. The department shall have the authority to waive and/or reduce the plan review fees.
2. All fees collected under this section shall be deposited in the Missouri public health services fund established in section 192.900, RSMo, and shall be used upon appropriation by the general assembly for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this chapter and chapter 198, RSMo.
