AN ACT

To amend chapter 278, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to fencing for watershed protection.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 278, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 278.241, to read as follows:

            278.241. Any political subdivision that requires a property owner to construct a lawful fence on the property owner's property for the purpose of providing watershed protection shall reimburse the property owner for all costs of constructing and maintaining the fence.
