AN ACT
To amend chapter 67, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to disturbances of the peace.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 67, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 67.2560, to read as follows:
67.2560. 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to play or permit to be played any sound-producing or sound-amplifying device in or on the vehicle so that it is plainly audible at a distance of fifty feet from the vehicle in any county with a charter form of government and with more than one million inhabitants or in any county with a charter form of government and with more than two hundred fifty thousand but fewer than three hundred fifty thousand inhabitants.
2. Any peace officer with jurisdiction in such county may impound any sound-producing or sound-amplifying device used in a violation of this section.
