This bill repeals an obsolete provision which allows the police department of the City of St. Louis to hire, as special advisors, former police officers who retired prior to October 1, 1957. FISCAL NOTE: No impact on state funds in FY 2008, FY 2009, and FY 2010. PROPONENTS: Supporters say this language is obsolete. Testifying for the bill was Representative Portwood.
