HB 1016 -- Overtime for Certain State Employees

This bill removes the requirement that certain state employees in
nonexempt positions must provide direct client care or custody in
order to receive compensatory pay for overtime hours worked.  The
compensatory pay applies to employees in facilities operating 24
hours, seven days a week in the departments of Corrections and
Mental Health, the Division of Youth Services within the
Department of Social Services, and the Missouri Veterans
Commission within the Department of Public Safety.
