HB 1049 -- Contraband Cigarettes

This bill allows for the seizure and forfeiture of contraband
cigarettes and any transport vehicle by the Attorney General,
State Highway Patrol, or local police authorities.  A motion will
be filed in an appropriate court to maintain the seizure and
prosecute the forfeiture.  The forfeiture provisions only apply
to the possession of five or more cartons of 10 packages of
contraband cigarettes.
