HB 1051 -- Property Tax Assessment

Sponsor:  Sutherland

This bill changes the laws regarding property tax assessment to
clarify the current statutes and removes obsolete language.  The
bill adds veterans' organizations to those that are exempt from
property tax and changes the deadline from June 15 to July 15 of
the tax year for the certification of values of commercial
aircraft by the State Tax Commission.
