HB 1069 -- Energy Conservation

This bill requires that all state buildings meet the
International Energy Conservation Code by July 1, 2009.  State
agencies must reduce their energy use by 15% by July 1, 2012, and
must purchase lowest lifecycle cost equipment.  The Department of
Natural Resources may provide free conservation training to
individuals receiving utility assistance and education and
assistance to municipalities, cooperatives, utilities, and
community groups concerning weatherization and conservation.
